Copy Editing

Think of line editing as a more holistic review of your paper, focused on creativity; clear, precise, and succinct language; coherent presentation; logical organization; and overall flow of the content. 

Proofreading

After your paper has been copy edited, it’s time to proofread! This service is appropriate only in cases where your paper is truly done. You’re ready to hit “send,” so to speak, but before you do, you want one final review to make sure you haven’t overlooked anything. In this case, your paper would truly require very minimal mark-up.
